Cate graduated Deakin University in June 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in February 2023.
During her studies Cate gained practical legal experience through various clerkships, internships, and volunteer roles, and discovered her passion for family law on placement at a community legal centre in her final year.
Following completing her studies, Cate began her career at a leading family law firm in Perth before joining Cahill Family Lawyers in March 2025, where she has contained to gain Experience in all areas of family law matters, ranging from simple to complex.

Cate is aware that the family law process is a stressful time for many clients and their families and approaches each matter with compassion and the goal of achieving a practical, Prompt and cost-effective resolution.
